We’re an 18th century country inn with crackling log fires, candlelit tables, flagstone floors and beamed ceilings. Enjoy our guest ales from local Yorkshire breweries including the Helmsley Brewing Co and Theakstons.

We ensure everyone receives a warm welcome including children, dogs and muddy boots. We also provide traditional board games to keep the kids amused and doggy treats for our four-legged friends.
We have recently opened our new outside bar serving a selection of drinks.
